The image below is a stack of 5, filtered (photometric R), two-minute CCD images taken by Keith Rivich, Bill Dillon, and Alex Cruz at the George Observatory, using the Houston Museum of Natural Science's 36-inch (91 cm) f/7 reflector and an AP-8 CCD camera. The image sequence began at 03:22:00 UT, 15 December 2000. The image is roughly 10 arc minutes on a side. North is up, East is to the left. Keith Rivich did the intial processing (dark, flat, hot/cold pixel removal, stack).
