CCD Image of the GRB00424B field

This image is a stack of three, four-minute CCD images taken at the George Observatory with the Fort Bend Astronomy Club's 18-inch (46 cm) reflector and "Cookbook" CCD camera starting at 02:33:00 UT April 26, 2000. The image has been stretched to bring out the faintest features. The field of view is about 12 arcminutes across. North is up, East is to the left. No GRB afterglow was seen in our image.

Observers were Len Casady, Joe Dellinger, Bill Dillon, and Cynthia Gustava. Stacking and transformation from fts to gif was done by Randy Pepper.
