CCD Cameras

Check external desiccant packs for AP-8

Monthly.  Replace or recharge as needed.

Telescope

Lightweight tube extension to stop stray light.

Improve tracking accuracy for CCD.

Try to get back to being able to do 4 minute unguided images.

Permanently mounted light for flat fields.

Address vignetting problem for AP-8 (possibly affects Cookbook too).

Might involve moving mirror back and/or secondary forward.  Verify calculations first.

Repair damaged wood on telescope (water damage).

Paint telescope forks.

Paint the face of the forks facing the slit flat black.

Full rotation stop to prevent future cable cuts, or reroute cables.

Remount 4 1/2 inch finder scope

Low relief standard filter holder

For V and R filters.

Clean telescope mirrors.

Should be done as needed (and the mirrors are in need).

Mirror collimation

Should probably be checked every three months.

Dome

Paint interior of dome.

Complete flat white primer coat, followed by deep flat blue overcoat.

Yellow handrail needs to be cleaned and painted.

Paint door trim (inside and out).

Reset foam rubber skirt so that its outside edge does not rub against the dome.

Need to check with Ash Dome first.

Empty trash.

After every use.

Lubricate dome.

Needs to be done yesterday!  Should be repeated every 6 months.

Clean out cabinets/drawers.

Every 3 months?

Untwist electric cable to shutter before it twists off completely.

Involves spinning the dome around until dots on cable are in a line (not a helix!).  Every 3 months?
